Our lovely Christmas Eve
Wednesday, December 26th, 2007The preparation for the Christmas Eve started early in the morning on 24th of December. My Grandma cooked some of the traditional for this day dishes: pumpking-pastry (тиквеник), stuffed cabbage (сарми), baked beans and lots of other delicious (fat-free) food. She made the traditional bread with a coin inside. Before the dinner started, my Grandma performed a ritual to chase the demons away from the house.We had a lot of fun, we laughed a lot, Anja picked up the lucky coin in the bread. It was a very pleasant time spent with the whole family, all together.
